To whomever happens to stumble upon this blogpost,

Our most sincere apologies for being MIA for the past 2 days. Sunday was not very eventful day, donations came in slowly during the day, but soon picked up as the night progressed.

Now for the more “eventful” Monday. Lets just say my (Grace’s) Monday morning started with my toothbrush falling into the toilet. Yes, you are correct living in the library has been proved to be harder than originally thought. And who knew changing in public washrooms can be such a mission? I still have yet to master that skill.

During the night nothing much really happened except for the occasional dance jam sess with Kaleigh. For those who have been following the live webcam feeds, you might have noticed that Queens U’s webcam tends to focused on a wall where all the live webcam feeds are projected. Just a minute to let out our frustration: passerby-ers always complain that the projector emits a very bright stream of light. Yes, I do agree with that. To the numerous people who do complain about this blinding stream of light, here’s a tip: how about NOT looking dead straight into the lens?

To all the other universities: does the cleaning staff go to your library at 4 A.M to clean as well? Kaleigh and I definitely woke up to a Zamboni cleaning the floors at precisely 4:22 a.m…. fun times : )

Other than that living in the library has been quite the pleasurable experience! We just want to say keep up the awesome work everyone!

Cheers!

Kaleigh and Grace
